Christingle Service

A delicious smell of oranges permeated the hall this week as our children prepared their Christingles with the support of our wonderful parent helpers. The Christingles were made in readiness for our final service of the year at St Mary’s Church.

During the service, Rev’d Ross spoke with the children about the relevance of the Christingle and how it reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world.  Our school choir performed a special compilation of festive songs before the Christingle candles were lit and we all joined together in singing the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’.  As our service concluded, we were reminded of the wonderful year we have had as a school community and we were able to wish all our families a very Merry Christmas and peaceful New Year.
