Remembrance

This week Mrs Grier was accompanied by four children to The Corn Exchange to see the mosaics created by Witney Schools to commemorate the end of World War 1. The exhibition was stunning.

A generation of children have created something very special to acknowledge the centenary.

On Sunday 11 November our school participated in the Witney remembrance parade as we recognised the sacrifices made, not just by the Armed Forces of the past, but by today’s generation too. Mrs Grier and two Year 2 children laid a wreath on behalf of Witney Primary Schools This was a great privilege and we were honoured to represent our primary school community.
