Warwick Castle

This week the excitable Year 2s went on an action packed trip to Warwick Castle as part of their topic, 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets'.

When they got there they were greeted by a real life princess who taught them how to bow and curtsey just like royalty.  She also read them a story about a small but very brave knight.

Afterwards the children had a chance to explore the castle grounds and stumbled across a medieval trebuchet, which flung a boulder hundreds of metres through the air! Other highlights included a birds of prey display, a tour inside the castle and a trip back in time in the 'Time Tower' to find out about the castle's previous owners.

The next day Hugo said "I loved it so much I want to go back with my family!"
